The pre-coordination goes beyond 3D MEP coordination. There are many variables to review, coordinate and discuss prior to construction. With expertise from on-site Construction Supervision and Project Management, and skill sets using BIM/VDC softwares, I can effectively convey issues to the Teams for collaboration, mitigating risk.
Auditorium Misc. Metals & LGMF Coordination
Design Team had concerns of hearing running water above the Auditorium ceiling. I provided a solution to wrap the plumbing in a LGMF enclosure and coordinated the details. Directed the Trades accordingly.
Coordination Of All Trades
In this renovation, there was no margin. Reviewed the ceiling design and modeled the various aspects to construct the ceiling, to direct the Framer. Then coordinated and directed the MEPs on how their systems needed to run to complete the space.
CFMF, Steel, SOD & Metal Panels Z-Channels
Reviewing contract and shop drawings conventionally and modeling the disiplines to be sure the shop drawings were complete. Found the design did not work in areas.
